Liberty Lake bridge work brings nightly lane closures to I-90
Those who travel both directions on Interstate 90 will need to plan additional travel time during nighttime single-lane closures for the next two weeks.
Crews working for the Washington State Department of Transportation will be painting the recently opened Kramer Parkway undercrossing and installing permanent concrete barriers and impact attenuators as part of the I-90 Barker to Harvard project.
Through Friday, a single lane in both directions of I-90 will be closed between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m. for bridge painting.
From Monday until Oct. 13, a single lane in both directions of I-90 will be closed between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m. for concrete barrier and impact attenuator installment.
Those traveling through the work zone should also keep in mind the temporary legal speed limit reduction from 70 mph to 60 mph, which will remain in place until project completion.
