Sobek, a freshman, won the 200-yard freestyle and 500 freestyle at the state 5A swim meet on Nov. 4 at the West Valley YMCA and Boise Aquatic Center, helping the Timberwolves to a third straight girls team title. “Tillie has been excited for the opportunity to be a part of the high school team since she started club swimming at the age of 6,” Lake City coach Shelly Sobek said. “She has thrived in the team environment and found extra motivation to rise to the top in order to support the team goal of a state title.”
