Tickets on sale for 'Need a Little Christmas'

| November 24, 2023 1:00 AM

The Christmas show “Need a Little Christmas” will run Dec. 8–22, with five matinee and seven evening shows at the Kroc Center, 1765 W. Golf Course Road, Coeur d'Alene.

It will replace the beloved “Traditions of Christmas” performances with a new, but familiar flair and festivity.  Like the previous 10 years, one will see a Radio City Music Hall style show, which includes beautifully choreographed kickline tap numbers, a heartfelt military tribute performance and a grand nativity conclusion. It features a cast of 45 people and more than 400 costumes.

The show is written by Laura Little of Laura Little Theatricals who originally brought "Traditions" to the Northwest. Little is the Broadway co-producer of the Tony Award winning “Come From Away,” and “Parade” currently on Broadway, as well as “Peter and the Starcatcher” and “First Date."

“We have learned so much from Laura and look forward to continuing to collaborate with her on this show and maybe others in the future,” Beth Taylor said.

Rick Taylor will direct the show, after directing “Traditions” for the last six years. The artistic team also includes Dorene Dundas as musical director, Moriah Heberer as Kickline choreographer and Heidy Cartwright creating the dances of the Headliners.
