Diana Opp, 75

Diana Opp joined the angels in heaven Nov. 5, 2023. She was born Feb. 16, 1948, to Roy and Allene Anderson in Kellogg, Idaho.

Diana married Stanley Opp on June 12, 1965, in Pinehurst, Idaho. They were married for 51 wonderful years. They lived in Superior, Mont., for five years before settling in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, to raise a family. Diana worked for GTE phone company for more than 15 years, then enjoyed being a homemaker and her favorite job of being a grandmother. Diana was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She loved weekend trips to the lake boating and beloved camping trips.

Diana and Stan were classic car lovers. They were members of Spokane Area Classic Chevy Club, and The Coachmen of Coeur d'Alene, owning several classic cars, her favorite being their 1955 Chevy.

Diana was preceded in death by her mother, Allene, father Roy and loving husband Stan. She is survived by her loving children, son Alan and Nicole Wright, daughter Saundra and husband Tony, and five grandchildren: Cody, Matthew, Zackery, Dylan and Harlan. She is also survived by her sister, Susan, and niece Angela and great-nephews Royce and Austin.

A celebration of life ceremony will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family would like any memorial or contributions in Diana's name made to Hospice House of North Idaho, 2290 W. Praire Ave., Coeur d'Alene, ID 83815 www.hospicehouseofnorthidaho.org. A very special thank you to all the staff at Hospice House of North Idaho for the wonderful care our mom and grandma (Nana) received.

The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation and thanks to the wonderful neighbors and special friends for their thoughtfulness, help and support.

I'll be resting under the tall cedars by a stream with the love of my life, remember me with smiles and laughter.
