Tree kills PF woman driving on Seltice Way

A Post Falls woman was killed Saturday morning when a tree fell into Seltice Way.

Idaho State Police reported the 68-year-old woman was traveling eastbound in a Honda CRV when a tree in the median fell over the eastbound lanes of travel at 3700 Seltice Way and impacted her vehicle.

The female driver died at the scene. No other occupants were in the CRV. 

Eastbound traffic was blocked for two hours to allow emergency responders to assist those involved in the area and allow debris clearing from the tree.

Next of kin has been notified.
