Maverik plans to open a new gas station and convenience store in the third quarter of 2024 in Smelterville. The 4.3-acre parcel is located on the northwest corner of Airport Road and Commerce Drive.

SMELTERVILLE — Plans are currently in motion for Utah-based company Maverik to break ground and start building on the 4.3-acre parcel on the northwest corner of Airport Road and Commerce Drive.
The Smelterville site cost $2,161,000 to procure from Shoshone County and will mean the addition of a new fuel and convenience store location, local jobs and what residents hope brings gas price competition in the Silver Valley.
