Free turkey dinners on Thanksgiving

COEUR d'ALENE — Free meals are being offered at two locations on Thanksgiving, Nov. 23

The Altar Church, 901 E. Best Ave., will serve a Thanksgiving dinner from 1 to 3:30 p.m. 

People are free to drop in and enjoy food and fellowship in the decorated hall. For those in need of transportation, delivery or carryout, call 208-771-4037 or email [email protected].

The event generally attracts a few hundred people.
