Evening Shift
Deputies assisted ISP on a traffic stop in Twin Lake. ISP took primary on the incident.
Deputies assisted medical with a call in reference to a male who had a cut on his head and refused to go to the hospital. Deputies determined the male was not a danger to himself and just did not want to go to the hospital. He was cleared at the scene by medical.
Night Shift
Deputies responded to Hayden Super 1 Foods for a shoplifter call. Two subjects attempted to leave the store with unpaid goods. They were issued citations.
Deputies responded to a welfare check of a male that was not taking his meds and was walking in the area of Bonnell Road. The male was contacted and it was determined he was not a danger to himself, but requested a ride to Kootenai Health. We facilitated the ride to the hospital.
A deputy made a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of Hwy 53 and Wilkinson Road for a traffic violation. During the stop, a K9 Officer arrived on the scene and alerted to drugs in the vehicle. A search of the vehicle yielded marijuana and drug paraphernalia, as well as an unknown white substance. The occupant was issued a citation for the mara/para charge. The white substance was collected and will be sent to the lab for testing. Additional charges maybe filed later.
