Retired Educators to meet Monday in the Silver Valley

The North Idaho Retired Educators will hold their monthly luncheon meeting at 11 a.m. Monday, May 22 at the Snakepit in Enaville.

The program will include recognition of two former Kellogg High School teachers, Norma Seaton and Mona Alfrey. Seaton and Alfrey were inducted into the Idaho Retired Educators Hall of Fame in April at the state meeting in Pocatello. Alfrey's induction was posthumous.

Doug Cresswell, co-president, will report on the state meeting and legislative issues. The program also will include some local history of the area, as well as time for any side trips to any of the Silver Valley historical sites.
