Day Shift

Detectives working with the U.S. Marshal’s Task Force located and arrested a male from a motel in CDA for his active warrant out of Montana for a Homicide conviction.

Evening Shift

Deputies responded to a residence in reference to a report of an assault. This incident was in reference to process servers serving some civil paperwork at the residence. It was reported the servers threw the paperwork at the victim. The victim advised the servers they needed to leave and one of the servers pulled out some pepper spray and made some threats. The suspect left the scene prior to LE arrival.

A deputy made a traffic stop at Hwy 95 and Prairie Ave. During the stop, a Police K-9 did an open-air search around the vehicle. The K-9 alerted to the presence of drugs in the vehicle. A search of the vehicle yielded Meth, Mexi pills and small baggies. The driver was arrested for possession with intent to deliver.

Deputies responded to a family dispute between mother and daughter. Both parties said the other one attacked them. No one wanted to press charges, so a report was completed.

Night Shift

A deputy made a traffic stop for a moving violation. During the stop, paraphernalia was observed. A search of the vehicle yielded meth and more paraphernalia. The driver was arrested for possession of felony drugs.

A deputy made a traffic stop on a vehicle. During the stop, it was learned the driver had four prior no insurance convictions and a suspended license. It was also learned the vehicle was still not insured. The driver was arrested for DWP.

A deputy made a traffic stop on Hwy 53 near Hauser Lake. While speaking to the occupants of the vehicle, the odor of an alcoholic beverage was coming from the vehicle. The driver failed Field Sobriety Evaluations and was arrested for DUI. A passenger in the vehicle admitted she had drug paraphernalia on her person. A search of her and the vehicle yielded a small amount of meth. The passenger was also arrested for the drug possession.

A deputy consensual contact at a gas station in Post Falls. During the contact, the subject admitted to having meth and paraphernalia in the vehicle. A search was conducted, and the drugs were found. The subject was arrested for the felony drug possession.
