BOOK BANNING: Not supported by pediatricians

At the Library Townhall held on May 6, candidate Tim Plass cited a statement from the American College of Pediatrics. This organization was founded in 2002. It has 700 members and is staunchly anti-LGBTQ+. The American Academy of Pediatrics was founded in 1930. It has 67,000 members and is highly respected. Plass would have us believe that pediatricians support book banning. The community deserves to know the truth. The American Academy did not make the statement that Plass cited.
