LAKELAND SCHOOL LEVIES: Vote yes

As a former Lakeland school administrator, I can assure you that the proposed levies will be critical to the education of Lakeland students. The district cannot reduce the budget by the amount of the levies without a significant impact on staff and programs. In order to maintain quality programs, such as KTEC and the many co-curricular activities, and keep the quality staff that has been the hallmark of Lakeland, the supplemental levy funds are critical. The students of this district deserve the quality education that Lakeland will continue to provide if properly funded. It is imperative to vote YES on the levies on May 16.
