CDA SCHOOL LEVY: Vote yes

Once again I have been fortunate to be in Coeur d’Alene schools. While there I witness joyful children who love their teachers and rigorously engage in learning activities. They feel safe and part of a community. There are high levels of school pride and kids watch out for one another. The teachers have taken great care of these children and they demonstrate deep levels of concern for learning and inspiring progress for all kids.

These same teachers do all this magic under the threat of losing jobs, colleagues and opportunities for kids. Instead of facing this adversity, they should be celebrated, thanked and allowed to thrive alongside students.

Please join me in thanking these great educators for all their efforts and then join me in voting yes on the upcoming levy. A yes vote supports our teachers, and it makes a world of difference for our kids today and into the future.
