Weather grounds kite festival

HAYDEN - The Hayden Kite Festival scheduled today has been canceled due to the weather.

It has been rescheduled for noon to 2:30 p.m. May 13 at Broadmoore Park, 2691 West Broadmoore Drive.

Categories include Best in Show, High Flyer and Best Homemade.

The Hayden Kite Festival is free and open to all ages. Kites sponsored by Aspen Homes in recognition of Child Abuse Prevention Month will be available.
