SCHOOL BATHROOMS: Use should align with birth certificate

Re: “School Bathrooms” I respectfully disagree with Steven Reynalds (April 16). In 1973, I “dressed up” as a woman too … for Halloween. I was pretending to be a woman. I was not confused or trying to push an agenda about my identity. The LGBTQ is laced with agenda, demand for acceptance and zero tolerance for anyone who does not support them. They are pretending to be something they aren’t. An X-ray at the time of death will reveal if they are a male or a female.

Concerning school bathrooms for minors, students should use the bathroom that coincides with their birth certificate. (Eliminating what happened in Ohio when a male student “identifying himself” as a female, entered the girls locker room, disrobed and showered in front of four unsuspecting girls who were greatly traumatized.) If a minor wants to change their sexual identity, they should wait until they are an adult.

I’m not sure where Christians, foot washing and praying have anything to do with confused identities. That is not relevant. As a Christian, I do not push my views on anyone. I choose to love all humanity. If a minor is choosing to identify of a different sexual orientation than what they were born with, they should use a single occupant bathroom so other students, not confused about their identity, are not emotionally traumatized.
