Sally English-Green, 79

Sally Lauraine English-Green, born July 24, 1943, to parents Dale and Elsie English, passed peacefully March 21, 2023, with her family by her side.

Before passing, Sally said, “Tell everyone — I've had the very best life!" If Sally left an imprint, impression or if she touched you in some way, her family would like to invite you to join in a celebration of her life. Sally was born and raised in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, and loved our community.

She liked to say that she was "in the business of helping people own their homes." Sally worked in real estate in her 20s and 30s and was in the mortgage business until retirement. Highlights include branch manager, regional manager and vice president of City Mortgage (Alaska’s largest mortgage bank), and owner of English Mortgage in Coeur d'Alene and Spokane, Wash.

But her favorite job by far was being a mother and grandmother. Sally spent her golden years with her family who loved her dearly. She is survived by her sisters, Peggy English-Covalt and Patty English-Hall; brother Dan English; her three children, Wendy, Tracy and Chris; her grandchildren, Justin, Cody, Nicole, Micaiah, Paige, Maxwell and Alexandria; as well as her two great-grandchildren, Goldie and Bjorn.
