PF LEGION FLAGS: Complainers should have appeared in person

As a war veteran and recent visitor to the wonderful Post Falls Legion facility, I was struck by the irony of today’s story about pressure from social media against the legion’s inclusion of the rebel banner in its historical flag display.

How many of these social media whiners served in a combat role alongside their comrades face to face with deadly and mortal opposition from an adversary — like so many members of the Post Falls Legion Post did?

You’d think they’d at least have the guts to personally appear at Post 143 and face the veterans, who paid a price vastly greater than the whining class, to adorn their post’s building in the larger historical context of our country.
