Tickets on sale for BluesFest Cd'A

One of the region’s biggest three-day lineups of blues talent will hit Coeur d’Alene on March 31.

Big names, big blues hits and a three-day event packed with 13 blues acts are coming to The Coeur d’Alene Resort, as well as on a special “Double-Boat Cruise.”

“The caliber of the blues acts we’ve booked is off the charts, so ticket sales have been pretty brisk," said Amy VanSickle, marketing director for The Coeur d’Alene Resort. “Not only is the talent level amazing, but people are really excited about the fact we’re putting two cruise boats together for one amazing concert on the lake.”

The Sunday gospel brunch at Dockside Restaurant, featuring the Voices 4 Praise quartet, has become one of the most popular events.

“People can enjoy inspiring gospel blues and still not miss Sunday brunch,” she said.

Two 2022 Blues Music Award winners, Mike Zito and Albert Castiglia, will combine their bands and their talents to form the “Blood Brothers” act on the festival stage. This blues powerhouse act will play music from their new Blood Brothers album in a Northwest first. This album is expected to hit No. 1 on the blues charts later this year.

"We’re also proud to present worldwide recording artist Maria Muldaur ("Midnight At The Oasis"), who has become a Grammy award-winning force in the blues industry," VanSickle said.

Justyn Priest and Natasha’s Force Of Nature will be featured on the unique Double-Boat Blues Cruise on Lake Coeur d’Alene. More top-name blues acts from around the Northwest will round out the three-day event, including Sidestep with Max Daniels, Sara Brown Band, Whack-A-Mole, as well as a tribute to Voodoo Church that features Elon C. Jones, Forest Govedare and Diego Romero, as well as the Doghouse Boyz and Bubble & Squeak.
