PREP ROUNDUP: Lee has big day for Bulldogs at Bonners Ferry

BONNERS FERRY — Sandpoint senior Rusty Lee won in the 100 hurdles, 300 hurdles and the high jump, leading the Sandpoint boys to the team title at the season-opening Bonners Ferry Invitational on Saturday at Bonners Ferry High.

Priest River senior Matyus McLain, who has signed to play football at Idaho, claimed wins in the 100-meter dash, as well as the shot put and discus.

Sandpoint’s girls ran away with the team title with 214 points.

Coeur d’Alene’s Will Van De Graff advanced to the No. 1 boys singles championship match before falling in straight sets to Lewiston’s Dylan Gomez 6-0, 6-2 at the Larry McConnell Invitational.
