26TH WINE, STEIN & DINE: A great success for education

The Post Falls Education Foundation would like to thank the many businesses, individuals and more than 350 attendees who helped make the 26th annual Wine, Stein & Dine fundraiser such a success again this year. Thank you all for supporting our teachers and students of the Post Falls School District.

Proceeds will go directly toward funding more than 100 grant requests that are submitted by the district teachers for creative classroom materials and equipment. During the past 26 years, the foundation has now raised more than $750,000 for the Post Falls classrooms.

Thank you to our Major Sponsors; Columbia Bank, Mountain West Bank, First Interstate Bank, Northwest Specialty Hospital and Architects West. Our Wine Tree Sponsor again was Washington Trust Bank, followed by sponsorships and support from Ednetics, Avista, Medicine Man West Pharmacy, Knudtsen Hometown Group Windermere Realty, Pacific Air Mechanical Services, KXLY Radio Group, Like Media, the Nickelsworth and the Coeur d'Alene Press.

Our generous food vendors this year included Ekness Catering, Cheers Celebration Co., Mangia Catering, Highlands Grill & Tap House, Westside Pizza Post Falls, Cake-Let Them Eat It, Post Falls Schools Nutrition Services, Rob’s Seafood and Burgers and the White House Grill.

Thank you to Bill Bozly and the Country Dawgs musicians for terrific music, along with beverage donors Odom Corporation, Hayden Beverage, Watson Distributing, Rosemary Manor Winery and Post Falls Brewing who provided more than 75 different varieties of wines, microbrews, seltzers and ciders to taste and enjoy. More than 90 businesses and individual donors contributed to the silent auction, and a crew of dozens of volunteers, who return each year, helped add to the event's success. The Kootenai County Fairgrounds was our new venue this year, and we thank the fairgrounds staff for their help. Thank you all for supporting our students and teachers in Post Falls.
