KOOTENAI COUNTY FARMERS’ MARKET: Keep it in Cd’A

I sincerely hope the Farmers’ Market of Coeur d’Alene has found another home in our city. The makers’ goods and produce they brought to the heart of our town was a compelling reason for locals to visit downtown during tourist season. Seeing all ages, all the maker’s and growers talent and an array of dogs really made it about community and neighbors.

If we are lucky, it will land in Riverstone where I am sure it will be welcomed as it adds to retail traffic and has plenty of parking.

I am sorry the downtown businesses are exclusionary and territorial, but we may still come downtown to enjoy the park. Just not the market. Never know what you have until it is gone.
