SCHOOL LEVIES and BONDS: Vote no

Presently, our local public schools provide a future for the minority of students who commit themselves to Advanced Placement (AP) courses while 70/80% are left poorly educated — for life. Ever more money has not improved public education. Ex: Millions of (unacknowledged) federal COVID dollars flowed to each of our now “needy” districts. Now, “these maintenance improvements” need to be accomplished as “catch up?” That is called yearly “fiscal incompetence.!”

Desperately Needed Fixes:

1) Vastly reduce expenditures for all districts’ by reassigning “stacked” credentialed employees to classrooms.

2) Forecast maintenance and repairs of schools yearly — thus alleviating “hysterical financial demands” — $25M(?) on the public.

3) TV cameras must immediately be added to each classroom for “security” and to finally guarantee that only scheduled “non-indoctrination” learning is guaranteed.

4) New tests must be created for “potential” Grade School, Jr. High School and High School “graduating” students, covering all years of their education at 6/8/and 12 years. These (local) tests must be devised yearly by “off” campus professionals. This is called Mastery Learning.

There has never been a written/signed commitment to our communities’ that Critical Race Theory, Anti Family/Anti American and ‘Trans’ — National NEA Union Initiatives’ — (or the same under camouflaged wording) would/could ever be taught in our Kootenai Co. public schools.” This (of course) can be accomplished before any new yearly budget can be approved. Since they have nothing to do with public education, the above could be consummated via Citizen Referendum, City Council approval, or Kootenai Co. County Commissioners approvals.
