REGAN: NIC board comments sound paranoid

Hey there, Mr. “It’s just common sense.” Your articles in the paper and your comments at NIC Board meetings sound less like common sense and more like paranoia-on-steroids, fear-mongering and hate-baiting. Do you really believe that educators in our public colleges and public schools are pushing lessons that work as “…incubators for Marxist, socialist, and communist ideologies?” (Any examples to share?) Do you really think that, like Venezuelans, Kootenai County educators hope “socialism will take root and in a few years we will all be reduced to eating zoo animals?”

I think your messages sound crazier with every word you utter or article you write. My guess is local citizens have more common sense — and brains — than to follow your ranting as either sane or factual. Keep writing and show your true colors to all who have been taught — through education — to think for themselves.
