BOYCOTTS: Not good for community

This community cannot afford to have boycotts of our businesses.

First, these are your neighbors and I find it hard to believe that you want to destroy their businesses and destroy the jobs of the locals. Secondly, this is a resort community and some people will not come here if they are uncomfortable shopping where there are boycotts. That will hurt all businesses. Thirdly, instead of going after people outside the NIC Board that you disagree with politically, it makes more sense to work on solving the differences you have with the board. This problem can only be solved by working together.

What is it that the business men on the board of NIC are trying to change that you feel destroys the educational process? I have not heard what the actual differences are and that needs to be told to the community to find common ground and keep NIC working for this community. Boycotts are used to intimate and bully people. This is not California and I watched the destruction that was caused by this tactic and many people were hurt. Don’t do that to our beautiful community!
