SCHOOL LEVIES: Encouraging support for the future

As a senior citizen in a community of families with new homes and children playing at local parks and playgrounds, I want to encourage you to support the district levies to make educational opportunities and facility maintenance planning available in budgeting the future expenses.

In owning a home, a budget for maintenance is no different than taking care of schools in a community. With your yes vote, you pay for a continued ability to bring those who guide these expenses to look ahead and not end up needing to rob Peter to pay Paul for unexpected outlay because the roof is gone or a bus is unusable.

Classrooms are always seeing the need to keep children’s needs met with the best available. You may know a child with special needs and that’s where you will find your dollars go far beyond the classroom.

If you have a home that is valuable, budget those tax dollars into a way to keep the value of your home and schools in the future vision of this special, valuable place where we live.
