NIC: Accreditation woes Wood’s fault

North Idahoans bemoan the NIC accreditation issue. But what they either don’t know or forgot is that Christie Wood and her nonprofit organization were the ones that filed the complaints to the accreditation board in the first place. Why? She wanted her liberal friends on the board of NIC. She knew she couldn’t pull that off (the last election saw conservative board members elected, remember?)

Enter the classic Hegelian Dialectic. You want something that you know you’ll never get, so you create an issue that causes an uproar, and then you swoop in with your solution that gets you what you originally wanted.

Thesis: Wood wants a liberal NIC board. She knows she can’t get that here.

Antithesis: Wood sends a complaint to the accreditation board, which begins the entire accreditation issue for NIC, which Christie and her buddies then use to propose the solution.

Synthesis: Wood lines up her liberal candidates for NIC board on the premise that they will save NIC from losing its accreditation — the very accreditation that Christie Wood instigated. Utilizing deceitful social media methods and other means, they almost succeeded in getting all three of their liberal candidates elected to the NIC board. Conservatives — who eschew everything else these liberal candidates stand for — voted for them, having been conned by Woods’ (and others’) duplicitous actions.

If you can’t win a fight fairly and without employing nefarious schemes, you don’t deserve to win.

Here’s hoping North Idaho wakes up for the next round.
