CRT and TAXES: Vote yes for Cd’A levies

We need to be united and vote YES for the children in our community. As a parent of three students in the Coeur d’Alene School District, I understand our schools. Probably like you, I want ALL children to become the best version of themselves, and I genuinely believe that supporting the school levies is the right thing to do.

Unlike private schools, the Coeur d’Alene School District must accept everyone in the district and give every child the best education possible. With 9,982 students in the district, there are a multitude of different needs, from speech therapy to advanced learning, and the Coeur d’Alene Public Schools try to help everyone.

I would like to briefly address two concerns I have been hearing: CRT and taxes. CRT is not taught in our schools, and it is not embedded in our curriculum. It is against school and state policy. It just isn’t happening. Regarding levies and taxes, please know that the Coeur d’Alene School District depends on levies for fundamental support.

Actually, 80% of Idaho public schools depend on levies, and Coeur d’Alene has one of the lowest levy rates in Idaho. Do you want to know how much your taxes will increase due to the levies?
