BAYVIEW — Bruce and Judy Robinson will be the grand marshals of the Bayview Daze Fourth of July parade Saturday.

The parade begins at 11 a.m. and will follow Main Avenue, also known as Ralph Jones Boulevard, through the lakefront town.

Kids are encouraged to bring plastic bags to hold the candy that will be tossed their way during the parade, which attracts about 1,000 people and features more than 25 entries.

Uncle Sam and his Bucket Brigade will be collecting donations for the fireworks.

Afterward, vendors will be selling handmade crafts and food by the Bayview marinas, and there will be a dunk tank and other activities.

The lighted boat parade on Lake Pend Oreille is set for 9:30 p.m. and will be followed by the fireworks display at 10 p.m.

A pancake breakfast is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. July 4 at the Bayview Community Center.
