RESPONSE: To Souza June 21 guest opinion

Dear People of Coeur d’Alene, I feel I can no longer be silent as JBS continues to be used as a political football. At the very least, everyone should be allowed to set the record straight when clarity is in order, especially since I proudly represent JBS and have for the last nine years.

JBS is not a political organization and never has been yet accusations about us are supposed to smear anyone that is allegedly associated with it? This tactic, as sad as it is to say, only appeals to the ignorant and/or those that hate traditional Americanist Principles. Do they think you are ignorant? Then why would they intentionally smear who we are?

Regardless of where you are on that spectrum, you deserve the truth and if you hate something, fine, but know why you hate it, most relating to JBS don’t. Many just assume due to the smears launched against us decades ago by the known communist paper then later parroted, in its entirety by Time magazine sometime later.

Again, to clarify, we are not political, nor have we ever been, our focus is solely on issues plaguing America and the globe that will affect everyone, not just one particular class of people. Please do not be misled. If JBS is ever smeared again anywhere, I encourage you to contact me asap either by email, text or social media. If you don’t, you may just be believing a lie.
