LOHR: A hero

“It’s no measure to be well-adjusted to a profoundly sick society,” said Jiddu Krishnamurti. Never were truer words spoken concerning Kellogg High School’s actions this past week. The powers-that-shouldn’t-be at this brainwashing institution — funded by our tax dollars — penalized a young man for telling the truth. For not going along with lies so destructive to our kids and society.

Brave graduating senior Travis Lohr uttered a sentence so self-evidently factual no one would have suggested otherwise a few years ago: “Guys are guys and girls are girls. There is no in-between.”

For his (uncommon) courage, the type his elders fail to show daily, Kellogg High School barred him from attending graduation. That wasn’t all. The cowards and reprobates who indoctrinate our kids with untruths such as “America is a systemically racist nation” pulled a sneaky move. Showing, not telling, their moral bankruptcy, they held a secret graduation to exclude Travis for speaking truth. (Right after they fired their own bus driver for standing in solidarity with this young man.)

The irony, of course, is these are the same mouthpieces who endlessly trumpet inclusion. Rather than dwell on their mendacity, let’s celebrate Travis. Rather than kick him out of graduation or get him fired from his new forestry job, America should celebrate him as a hero. Here’s a real man — a young man — just starting his life who has more guts and character than all the adults who cheer on his oppression. Travis, congratulations. You graduated the school of life.
