GILLIGAN’S ISLAND: ‘Not much has changed’

I remember watching Gilligan’s Island in my elementary years. When the Skipper called Ginger on the coconut phone, I never questioned its practicality nor need on a deserted island. I was being entertained by a cast “stranded” 3 1/2 hours from the mainland…

Not much has changed. I still laugh when the billionaire has a plan or when Gilligan calls the Island “anti-woke.”

I believe we all know there’s no whistleblower on the Hunter Biden coconut phone. I’m not sure the cast is keen to that though.

When Napoleon was returning from Egypt with his treasures to a post revolution France, he told his aide, “All great events hang by a thread. I believe in luck, but a wise man neglects nothing which helps his destiny.”
