Perry and Lynda Peterson

50th Anniversary

Perry and Lynda Peterson, of Post Falls, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary last weekend in Hillsboro, Ore., with their three children.

They were married June 7, 1973, at the Foursquare Gospel in Coeur d’Alene and have lived in the area since that time.

50th Anniversary

Bill and Geri (Merriman) Douglas, of Post Falls, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married in Spokane. Their honeymoon was at The North Shore Resort, now The Coeur d'Alene Resort.

Bill and Geri met while students at Gonzaga University. They have lived in Kootenai County for 40 years.

Geri worked as an Emergency Medical Technician for the Coeur d'Alene Fire Department and is now retired. Bill retired after 20 years as Kootenai County Prosecuting Attorney and Chief Judge Coeur d'Alene Tribe.

Their children are Matthew, Jeremy and Christopher; and they have seven grandchildren.

Bill and Geri celebrated with friends and relatives Saturday, June 3, 2023, at the home of Matthew Douglas with their three sons hosting.
