LIBRARY BOOKS: What about the Bible?

While the Idaho Freedom Foundation is taking a victory lap over the community library district win, I hope Hanley and Plass get right to work restricting access or banning books with graphic violence and porn like the Bible.

Graphic porn in the Bible?! In Genesis here is Abraham pimping out his wife Sarah to Pharaoh, bad! Then Sarah gives her handmaiden Hagar to Abraham, three-way triangle? A few chapters later, the son of a Hivite chief rapes Jacob’s daughter Dinah, double bad! Then Joshua sent two spies to Jericho and they stayed with a prostitute named Rahab, pimps or customers?

Now top this off with extreme violence — beheadings, eye gouging, stoning to death in a lot of chapters. Jesus had a soft spot for sinners, he protected an adulterous woman from being stoned along with tax collectors. This sounds like a good plot for a daytime soap opera that the kids and grandma watch every day.
