Janice Ann Williams, 77

| June 2, 2023 1:00 AM

Janice Ann Williams was 77 years old when she passed away May 17, 2023, at the Schneidmiller Hospice House, and went home to be with the Lord, Jesus Christ. Janice was born July 2, 1945, in Chicago, Ill. At the young age of 4, she moved to Maywood, Calif., where she continued to grow up and flourish.

Janice attended and graduated from Catholic Grammar School before attending Bell High School in Bell, Calif., and graduating in 1963. It was at a 40th high school reunion where she met Samuel J. Williams II in 2003, and they later married in Laughlin, Nev., in 2006. Janice and Samuel have been happily married ever since.

Janice worked as a payroll secretary for the Downey, Calif., Police Department for 22 years of her life before she retired, where she then moved to Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, and remained for the rest of her days with her loving husband, Samuel.

She was a very hardworking woman, but she also knew when it was time to enjoy some of her favorite things, such as playing cards, gambling, going to the casino and tending to her beautiful flower garden. She was also very passionate about her country and loved anything red, white and blue to represent that.

She is survived by her husband, Samuel J. Williams II, two daughters, Kathleen Bowen and Tina Hendricks, her brother, Steven Nagy and four grandchildren; Jeffrey, Kurt, Daniel and Wendy.

A memorial service for Janice is to be held at Bell Tower Funeral Home; 3398 E. Jenalan Ave. in Post Falls, Idaho, on July 1, 2023, at 11 a.m.

Janice’s family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to a charity of your choice.
