SAUSSER: Gave much to the community

I was saddened to hear of Don Sausser’s passing over the weekend. Don was a true friend of the Coeur d’Alene community. He devoted countless hours and years supporting NIC Athletics and Performing Arts and numerous community organizations, including Coeur d’Alene Symphony and Opera Plus! (now Inland Northwest Opera). The hundreds of hours of care he took capturing and editing so many performances is a priceless contribution to all involved.

As a former NIC music faculty member, I was delighted when I saw Don and his wife, Sue walk in through the green room to set up his video equipment because I knew a friend was in the audience supporting our work. Thank you, Don, for all you gave to our community.
