OPINIONS: Questions

Opinion pieces, are the people who write them, do you charge them? Is there a limit to how many words are in them? How often are they allowed to be in the paper?

I assume a local resident would not be charged for their occasional opinion. When you have an organization, their opinions are in a different category, such as below.

I do not like Brent Regan and the KCRCC and believe they are detrimental to Coeur d’Alene. One example was the chaos they caused at the college. I noticed in Friday’s paper he had almost 1/2 page, which must be expensive on your part. He seems to be in the paper at least every week and maybe more.

I am sure other readers would like to know also. Thank you.
