Roads to close Saturday morning for Hayden Days Parade

HAYDEN — Roads in Hayden will temporarily close Saturday for the Hayden Days Parade and other Hayden Days events and activities.
Government Way from Hayden to Dakota avenues will be closed to the public from 8 to 10 a.m. Side streets from Hayden to Nita avenues will be blocked off at 9:55 a.m. Streets will reopen once parade units have passed.
The annual Hayden Days “Hometown Heroes” Parade will begin at 10 a.m. and include a flyover by No Limits Aviation. It runs along Government Way from Hayden Avenue to Honeysuckle Avenue.
This year’s parade will include the Distinguished Veteran of the Year and Grand Marshal Hal Donahue, Northern Lakes Fire Protection District, the U.S. Forest Service and Smokey Bear, the Community Library Network's Bookmobile, the Blazen Divaz, Disabled American Veterans, the Kootenai County Sheriff's Office, classic cars and more.
