First summer supermoon

The first of several supermoons that will rise this summer is pictured here Monday evening over Coeur d'Alene. Monday's moon is a full buck moon, a name given to it because the antlers of deer are in full-growth mode in July. Supermoons are the result of the moon being closer to Earth at the time of a full moon, according to Space.com.
