Lurene Marie Tefft, 89

Lurene Marie Tefft, 89, of Post Falls, died Jan. 15, 2023, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Lurene was born Feb. 16, 1933, in Spokane, Wash., to Cecil and Lula Richardson-Draxton.

She has lived in the area her entire life. She loved reading, knitting, counted cross-stitch and casino trips. She won blue ribbons for her knitted baby sweaters at the Kootenai County Fair.

Lurene is preceded in death by her parents, husband Perry and son Michael.

She is survived by daughters Susan (Ted) Kepler, Crystal Stevens and Shannon (Renee) Tefft, sister Ruby Metcalf, half-sister Linda Machart, seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
