Inez Rose Trujillo, 88

Inez Rose Trujillo passed away peacefully Feb. 1, 2023. Inez was born May 5, 1934, in Gusher, Uintah, Utah, to James Henry Trujillo and Eva Ardella Boren Trujillo. She was the fifth of eight children. She married Deloss Chivers on Sept. 2, 1950. They had three children, Karin May, Clay E., and Denisa.

She was a lifetime member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she served in several callings. Her favorite calling was serving as girls camp director and working with the youth. She enjoyed serving five missions: three at the Family History Center in Salt Lake City, Utah, one in Paraguay and one in Ecuador.

Her passion in life was her family and genealogy work. Anyone she would meet, she would teach them and share her love of Family History Work.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, James and Eva Trujillo; sister Remilda Trujillo Nelson; brother Jerald J. Trujillo; sister Ardella R. Trujillo Lee; brother Donald LaMar Trujillo; brother Roger Lynn Trujillo; and beloved son Clay E. Chivers.

She is survived by her daughters, Karin (Mark) Harston, Denisa (Michael Greg) Bolyard; sister Donna Lou Trujillo McKowen; brother Alan James (Sharon) Trujillo; 17 grandchildren, 54 great- grandchildren, 12 great-great-grandchildren, with two on the way.

Funeral services will be held May 5, 2023, on her birthday in Lapoint, Utah, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
