On Jan. 25, 2023, our beloved husband, dad, pop and friend passed at age of 84. Born Feb. 5, 1938, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho, to George and Esther (Streeter) Nielsen.

John married Sharon Rose Schorzman on March 17, 1960. Being St. Patrick’s Day made anniversary celebrations a special fun time. Together they had two daughters; Kim Nielsen and Tracy (Don) Williams.

Through this long career and a lifelong resident of Coeur d’Alene, John and Sharon created so many great friendships.
