Cd’A Airport town hall planned

Kootenai County officials will host a town hall in January to discuss the future of the Coeur d’Alene Airport.

The town hall is set for 6 p.m. Jan. 9 on the first floor of the Kootenai County Administration Building, 451 N. Government Way.

Airport Director Gaston Patterson, Airport Advisory Board Chair Brian Cleary and Commissioner Bruce Mattare will discuss why they believe the airport needs a tower, according to a news release, as well as whether the airport should maintain its current certification for commercial service and more.

The town hall will be recorded and the video posted publicly after the event.
