ANNIVERSARY
James and Nancy DiGiammarco
55th Anniversary
James and Nancy (Robinson) DiGiammarco, of Hayden, celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary. They were married Nov. 23, 1968, after Jim returned from his tour of duty in Vietnam.
James owned an automotive repair shop and worked as an automotive mechanic and Nancy as a marketing and sales director. Both are retired. They have one son, Jason James DiGiammarco of Kent, Wash., owner Marble Productions Graphics.
James and Nancy celebrated their anniversary with a two-week vacation Nov. 11- 24, 2023, in Ireland where they visited castles, neolithic monuments and ruins.
HIGHER EDUCATION
Kathryn "Kate" Babb earned her Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in counselor education and supervision from the University of Central Florida. Kate is now a Core Faculty member at Capella University, teaching in the school counseling master’s program and the Counselor Education doctoral program. She also maintains a small counseling practice specializing in adolescent care.
Before earning her Ph.D., Kate worked as a school counselor for nine years. A graduate of the Coeur d’Alene School District (K-12), the University of Idaho (bachelor’s degree) and Gonzaga University (master’s degree), Kate now splits her time between Orlando and the Inland Northwest.
Longtime Coeur d’Alene residents Dave and Brenda Babb are parents to Kate.
