CELL TOWER: Should be denied

There is ample evidence that lightning strikes are more prevalent within one mile of a tall cellphone tower.
AT&T is asking for a county conditional use permit for a 150-foot lattice work tower near the entrance of Potlatch Hill Road and Sky Harbor Drive.
More than 100 homes are situated uphill from this site.
If a lightning caused fire was to start anywhere near the tower, it would spread uphill and block the only way of escape from Potlatch Hill and the Armstrong Park area.
I hope that the County Commissioners will put the safety of these residents ahead of the AT&T desires.
