Dean, a senior libero from Timberlake High, was voted the Cascade Conference Rize Laboratory Volleyball Defender of the Week after a record-setting weekend that propelled the Warriors to a pair of road victories. Dean set a Warrior record with 38 digs in a four-set match. The total is the third-most in any match by an LC State volleyball player. She averaged 5.22 digs per set over the weekend and dealt seven assists. With 224 digs so far this season, Dean has amassed 1,072 in her career which ranks ninth all-time in the LC record book. This is the second weekly honor for Dean in her career, and the first for the school this season.

Currie, a sophomore from Lake City High, led the Warriors with a 156 after shooting a 79 during the final round of the Multnomah Invitational on Tuesday at Elk Ridge Golf Course in Carson, Wash.
