Neff, a 5-foot-7 sophomore setter from Lakeland High, had 40 assists and 19 digs in a 25-15, 16-25, 17-25, 25-16, 15-13 win over visiting Columbia Basin on Sept. 21, then had 21 assists and eight digs in a sweep at Spokane on Sept. 23. Neff is currently third in the Northwest Athletic Conference, averaging 8.84 assists per set. "Abbey did great for us last week," NIC volleyball coach Kelsey Stanley said. "She's starting to run the offense well and getting our hitters one on ones with the blockers. She works so hard on and and off the court and does a great job leading."
