Retired Educators begin new year

| September 24, 2022 1:00 AM

North Idaho Retired Educators Association begins the new year at 11:15 a.m. Monday, at MacKenzie River Pizza.

"We have read the Coeur d'Alene Press's glowing 'Celebration of Educators' in June. So impressive was that list," said the group's announcement of the meeting. "We would like to invite any and all of those retirees to join us for our first meeting of the year."

The association's co-presidents are Doug Cresswell, retired superintendent, and Norma Seaton, retired from Kellogg district. Meetings are the fourth Monday of each month, with a program and business meeting concerning information of interest to our profession.

As a chapter of the Idaho State Retired Educators, the group has a regional and state convention each year in April.

For a first-time complimentary lunch, as the association's featured guest, call Marla Mayer, 208-861-1622, or e-mail darrellmarla@msn.com.
