Jesse Donald Grout, 45

Jesse Donald Grout, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 30. He was 45 years old, and the best father to his five children, and the best husband in the world.

Jesse attended college at Idaho State University, and upon his graduation became an electronic technician. Jesse loved working within his field, he spent over 20 years in electronic quality control.

Jesse was a big fan of a good story and he had the best sense of humor. He was an avid gamer, and enjoyed doing so with his many friends. He was the kind of guy who always wanted to know how your day was, what he could do to help out, and he would make sure that you never left his house hungry.

Jesse and Kim met, fell in love, and later married in 2014. Kim had three children when they met, Austin, Dakota, and Ashley, and Jesse loved them fiercely. In 2018, Jesse and Kim welcomed their twins Donald and Rylee, and their family was complete.

Jesse had the biggest heart around and was well known for always having a smile on his face. Jesse was determined to provide for his family and was always working hard to ensure their futures.

Jesse is survived by his wife Kim and his children Rylee, Donald, Ashley, Dakota, and Austin. As well as his mother Peggy, and countless family and friends.

His memorial will be held Sept. 24 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, 501 E. Wallace Ave. Coeur d’Alene, followed by a barbecue in White Pines Park, 2100 N. Spokane St., in Post Falls. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, you please make a donation on Jesse's behalf to the American Heart Association.
