The Kootenai County Democrats will host “Democracy, Extremism and the Dobbs Decision,” a two-part, moderated panel discussion at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 24 at Templin’s Red Lion Hotel in Post Falls.

Legal experts, statewide politicians, local leaders, representatives from women’s service centers and local OB/GYNs will explore political extremism and how the Dobbs decision impacts health care for women in Kootenai County.

The first moderated panel discussion beginning at 11 is titled “Democracy in Light of Extremism,” and the second panel discussion at 1 is titled “Reversal of Roe v. Wade’s Ramifications.”

Both panels will be moderated by Clint Schroeder, the Inland Northwest Regional Publisher for Hagadone Media Group. Guided by Schroeder, the slate of local professionals and stakeholders will discuss pre-submitted questions.

Questions for panelists can be submitted at https://bit.ly/ExtremismDobbs. The event is free, but requires registration at https://secure.actblue.com/donate/democracyextremismdobbssymposium.
