Marcia Jane Myers, 73

Marcia Jane Myers, aged 73, of Coeur D’Alene, Idaho, passed away Sept. 4, 2022.

Marcia was born March 15, 1949, in Sunnyside, Wash. She graduated from Cheney High School in 1967. She graduated with a BA in education from Eastern Washington State College (EWU). She later completed a Master’s degree in Librarianship at U of W in Seattle.

Marcia started her career teaching at middle school level for two years. After completing her Master’s degree she went on to work in the Seattle Public Library system, working her way up to middle management. Marcia made many friends in her life and was an excellent conversationalist. She enjoyed reading and travel and spending time with family and friends.

Marcia is survived by one sister, Sue Falk of Liberty Lake, Wash. She was preceded in death by her parents, James M. Myers and Doris N. Myers, and by two sisters Mary Ann Myers and Paula K. Myers.

A memorial service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 17 at Hazen & Jaeger Valley Funeral Home at 1306 N Pines Road in the Spokane Valley.
